Guidance For Families Before The First Contract
Before a young player signs anything, families deserve to understand their rights, the real process, and the questions that protect a young athlete. That is where we start.
What This Includes
We educate first and let families decide, because a confident, informed parent is the best protection a young player can have. When you are ready, the next step is a free conversation.

Your rights explained in plain language
Before anything else, we explain what a young player and their family are actually entitled to, in language that makes sense. No jargon, no fine print you cannot follow.

The honest questions to ask any agent
We hand families the questions that separate a trustworthy agent from a risky one, so you can walk into any conversation informed and in control.

How early decisions can affect college eligibility
Signing too early can quietly close doors, including college eligibility. We map out how each decision affects the options ahead before anyone commits.

A parent guided, pressure free process
Every step happens with a parent in the room and zero pressure. We move at your pace, because good decisions are never rushed.

An Agent Who Has Lived Every Side Of The Game.
MFH Global Football Agency was founded by Bert Mahecha, a FIFA-licensed football agent based in South Florida with deep ties to Colombia. He has played, refereed, coached, owned a club, and owned local and national leagues under the Florida State Soccer Association, part of US Soccer. That full-spectrum experience is why MFH Global Football Agency asks the right questions before a player ever boards a plane.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what age should a family start getting guidance?
There is no single right age. From under 12 and up, early guidance helps families understand their rights and avoid costly mistakes. Getting educated is never too early.
Do parents stay involved in every step?
While a player is a minor, yes, always. Parents are in the room for every conversation and decision. That is a firm rule at MFH Global Football Agency, not a preference. Once a player turns 18 and is legally an adult, we work directly with them if they prefer, while keeping the family involved whenever the client wants that.
Is advisory the same as signing with an agent?
No. Advisory is education and guidance first. Formal representation is a separate decision made later, only when it is right for the player and family.
